Thrilling Day 3 Concludes at the IDO World Tap Dance Championships!

Day 3 of the IDO World Tap Dance Championships has wrapped up, and it was indeed unforgettable! The Juniors delivered nine electrifying finals, featuring incredible performances in the Junior 1 and Junior 2 solos and duos categories. These young dancers left it all on the floor, each one tapping their way closer to victory.

The evening closed with a spectacular Juniors grand finale in trios, groups, and formations, showcasing stunning synchronization and intricate choreography that highlighted the very best of tap dance.
Plus, the Adults Division made an exciting debut today! Their competition began with the first rounds in female solo, duos, and formation, offering a preview of what was to come in the next few days.

With a second Parade of Nations, the energy in the hall grew. Adding to the excitement was a surprise visit from Michael Wendt, the IDO Honorary President and longtime organizer of the IDO Tap Dance Championships in magical Riesa. Michael brought an extra spark to the event, extending his heartfelt congratulations to the organizing team from Tap Academy Prague—Tomas Savicek, Natalie Sincova, and Monika Jenik Bachovska—who delivered a truly phenomenal event, setting new standards for excellence and energy. He shared his joy in reuniting with legendary tap icons like Kerstin Albrecht, Matthew Clark, Fabrice Martin, and Vesna Huber, who have been cherished members of the tap community and tap competitions since the early '90s. Their dedication and passion, spanning decades, infused the event with a nostalgic atmosphere!
