The IDO European Show Dance Championships 2025 Officially Open in Arnas!

The IDO European Show Dance Championships 2025 have officially begun in Arnas, France, bringing together more than 700 dancers from across Europe in a vibrant celebration of movement, creativity, and stage magic.

The opening day was marked by an incredible Parade of Nations, as dancers proudly represented their countries in a colorful and emotional ceremony that set the tone for the week ahead. The atmosphere inside the ESCALE Arena was electric, with flags waving and the audience cheering every step of the way.

The competition is organized by FFDJ and Fabrice Large, with the support of IDO France and the International Dance Organization.

This year’s official team includes:

• Moderator: Sylwana Patlaszynska (Poland)

• Chairman of Judges: Fiona Johnson (Slovenia)

• Supervisor: Marco Bjurström (Finland)

• Scruteneer: Vesna Huber (Slovenia)

Over the next few days, dancers will compete in solos, duos, groups, and formations, showcasing their best work and fighting for the European titles in Show Dance.
