Street Dance Show Forum Held in Örebro, Sweden: A Step Forward in Shaping the Future

ÖREBRO, SWEDEN – June 2025 – A focused and passionate exchange took place in Örebro during the Street Dance Show Forum, where eight dedicated delegates from Italy, Denmark, Slovenia, Poland, Germany, and North Macedonia gathered to shape the future of the discipline.

The forum served as an open platform for dialogue and creative collaboration between national representatives, choreographers, and trainers. The central theme of discussion: how to further develop and promote Street Dance Show across member countries. Constructive conversations revolved around enhancing visibility, encouraging innovation in choreography, and creating more opportunities for dancers of all levels.

Chairperson of the Street Dance Show discipline, Jannie Briener, expressed great satisfaction and optimism about the outcomes:
“We are on the right path. The energy and dedication in this group prove that Street Dance Show has a vibrant future. I’m excited for what’s ahead.”

The momentum continues, as the next official meeting will take place in Osnabrück, Germany, during the upcoming IDO Street Dance Show World Championships. There, new strategies will be presented to further boost the discipline’s appeal and recognition among National Member Organizations (NMOs), choreographers, and dancers worldwide.

The International Dance Organization celebrates this initiative as part of its ongoing mission to evolve and uplift all dance styles, ensuring that Street Dance Show grows stronger, more unified, and more visible than ever before.
