Spectacular Parade of Nations Unites Over 1,000 Dancers in Ljubljana’s Tivoli Hall

The IDO World HipHop, Breaking & Popping Championships 2025 officially opened in grand style with a spectacular Parade of Nations held inside the legendary Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana. More than 1,000 dancers representing 34 countries took part in this powerful and emotional ceremony, creating a moment of unity, pride, and celebration that will be remembered for years to come.

Flags waving, dancers cheering, and national teams standing shoulder to shoulder — the Parade of Nations set the tone for an unforgettable week of world-class competition and international friendship. The atmosphere in the hall was electric, filled with joy, anticipation, and an overwhelming sense of global togetherness through dance.

The event is hosted by Hiša Plesa and organized by Azra Pucko and Fiona Johnson, in cooperation with the Slovenian Dance Federation and under the auspices of the International Dance Organization (IDO).

Leading the championship are IDO President Velibor Srdic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Chairperson of Judges Kirsten Dan Jensen (Denmark), and Supervisor Edilio Pagano (Italy), ensuring the highest international standards in every category of competition.

The Parade of Nations officially opened a week filled with world-class performances, creativity, and cultural exchange, reaffirming Ljubljana’s place as one of the most dynamic dance capitals in the world.
