Spectacular Ballet Programme Concludes on Day Two of the IDO European Championships in Skopje

Day Two of the IDO European Ballet, Jazz, Modern & Contemporary Championships 2026 brought another outstanding day of competition to SC Boris Trajkovski in Skopje, concluding a spectacular opening programme dedicated to Ballet.

Across the first two days, the stage welcomed remarkable performances from dancers representing countries from across Europe. Technical precision, artistry, musicality and emotion came together in a celebration of classical dance and the continued development of Ballet within the IDO.

The performances in Skopje once again demonstrated how the quality and competitive standard of IDO Ballet continues to grow year after year. From the youngest dancers to the more experienced competitors, the level presented on stage reflected the dedication of dancers, teachers and choreographers throughout the IDO community.

The spectacular setting and world-class competition conditions at SC Boris Trajkovski provided a fitting stage for the Ballet disciplines, creating memorable moments for dancers, officials and audiences alike.

With two beautiful days of Ballet now completed, Skopje 2026 is ready to turn the page to Jazz Dance.

The European Championships continue with the Jazz disciplines, bringing a new energy, style and dynamic to the competition floor as the nine-day celebration of dance continues in Macedonia.

With seven more days ahead, there is much more world-class dance still to come from Skopje.

The Ballet chapter has closed in spectacular style. Now, it’s time for Jazz!
