Record-breaking IDO Licensed Event: Dance Off 2025 brings 2,700 dancers from 12 countries and 50 clubs to Skopje
Skopje welcomed an extraordinary edition of the IDO Licensed Event – Dance Off 2025, held this weekend at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center, attracting a record number of participants and visitors.
With 2,700 dancers, 50 dance studios, and 12 countries represented, this year’s festival reached its highest participation to date. Competitors arrived from:
North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Greece, Slovenia, The Netherlands, and Türkiye.
More than 4,000 visitors enjoyed powerful categories in Hip Hop, Street Dance, Performing Arts, and Latin, creating an atmosphere that confirmed the strength and growth of IDO Licensed Events in the Balkan region.
“It may look unreal… but this is ours. This is Skopje, this is North Macedonia. A stage full of energy, dancers who make the impossible look real, and countless smiles that show how much we love performing, competing, and creating memories,” the organizers said.

Festival organizer Trajce Petkovski from Break A Leg Dance Studio highlighted that this record-breaking edition serves as a preview of what is coming in 2026 — the IDO European Championships in Modern, Jazz, and Ballet, scheduled for 21–29 October 2026 at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center.
“When something is created with love, nothing is impossible,” noted Petkovski.
