More Than 2,000 Dancers Take Over Örebro for the IDO European HipHop & Popping Championships 2025

ÖREBRO, SWEDEN – June 27, 2025 – The dance floor at Conventum Arena is alive with energy as the IDO European HipHop & Popping Championships 2025 kick off in style. From June 26th to 30th, over 2,000 dancers from across Europe are showcasing their skills in a celebration of urban dance culture, passion, and community.

The event is hosted in Örebro, Sweden, and organized by the Swedish Dance Sport Federation together with Knut Säborg Dansstudio.

Over five days, the championships feature powerful performances in HipHop, HipHop Battles, and Popping, with solo dancers, duos, and crews competing in multiple age divisions. The atmosphere is electric — the sound of music, cheers, and footwork filling the arena as dancers bring their best to the stage.

An international panel of expert judges is leading the scoring, while workshops, activities, and a professional production setup ensure that this event is both a world-class competition and an unforgettable experience.

Representing the IDO Presidium at the event is Kirsten Dan Jensen, IDO Executive Secretary, who praised the organization and spirit of the competition:
