Medvode Welcomes Europe's Finest as the IDO European Show Dance Championships 2026 Begin

The International Dance Organization (IDO) proudly returns to Slovenia as the picturesque town of Medvode becomes the home of the IDO European Show Dance Championships 2026, taking place from 3–5 July 2026 at the modern Sport Hall Medvode.

Organized by Plesna Zveza Slovenije together with the I Feel Dance team, the championship brings together Europe's most outstanding dancers, choreographers and national federations for three spectacular days celebrating creativity, storytelling and artistic excellence. Medvode once again confirms its reputation as one of Europe's premier destinations for international dance events.

Show Dance is one of IDO's most expressive disciplines, combining technical mastery with theatrical performance, emotion and innovation. Every choreography tells a unique story, transforming the competition floor into a stage where imagination meets world-class athleticism.

The event is part of the renowned I Feel Dance Festival, which has become synonymous with outstanding organization, exceptional hospitality and unforgettable dance experiences. Following the European Championship, Medvode will continue its celebration of dance by hosting another major international event, making the city the center of the global dance community for an entire week.
