KIELCE 2026: THREE DAYS OF SPECTACULAR BATTLES COME TO AN END AS THE IDO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS ENTER A NEW CHAPTER!

Three days of electrifying battles, outstanding performances and unforgettable emotions have brought the first chapter of the IDO World Hip Hop, Popping, Hip Hop Battles & Breaking Championships 2026 to a spectacular conclusion in Kielce, Poland.

From 17 to 19 October, Hala Legionów became the ultimate battleground for some of the world's most talented street dancers, as competitors representing the international IDO community fought for prestigious World Championship titles in Breaking and Hip Hop Battles.

The Championships opened on Saturday with spectacular Breaking Solo competitions, featuring B-Girls and B-Boys across Children, Juniors 1, Juniors 2 and Adults divisions.

Sunday brought another level of excitement with Breaking 2vs2, Breaking Crews and Hip Hop Battle Crews, filling the arena with teamwork, creativity, powerful performances and intense head-to-head competition.

The third day, Monday, 19 October, marked the conclusion of the battle programme, with Hip Hop Battle Solos taking centre stage across all four age divisions.

From the youngest competitors to experienced adult dancers, the opening three days celebrated the creativity, musicality, athleticism and individuality that make the international street dance community so extraordinary.

The organizing team, led by Waldemar, has expressed great satisfaction with the opening days of the Championships.

The positive atmosphere, dedication of the dancers and energy surrounding the competitions have created an excellent beginning to this major international event.

With the first championship categories completed, the organizers are now looking forward to welcoming the many additional dancers, coaches and national delegations arriving for the next stage of the competition.

THE CHAMPIONSHIPS CONTINUE – HIP HOP TAKES OVER!

The excitement in Kielce is far from over!

Starting Tuesday, 20 October, the Championships enter their next phase, with the IDO World Hip Hop & Popping Championships bringing a new wave of dancers, choreography, musicality and spectacular performances to Hala Legionów.

The upcoming days promise another extraordinary celebration of dance, with competitors taking to the floor in solos, duos, groups, formations and Popping categories.

As the focus shifts from battles to choreographed competition, audiences can look forward to an entirely new dimension of the IDO World Championships.
