Italy Hosts Its First IDO Licensed Event on March 15-16 in Castellanza

Castellanza, Italy – March 2024 – A new milestone in the Italian dance scene is set as Italy hosts its first-ever IDO Licensed Event on March 15-16 in Castellanza, near Milan. This prestigious competition will bring together more than 1,500 dancers from across Italy and three other countries, marking a significant step in the country’s engagement with the International Dance Organization (IDO).

The event is organized by Valerio Bennardo and Stefania Colombo, with IDO Supervisor Flavio Balzani overseeing the competition. Adding to the prestige, Mr. Edilio Pagano, President of CIBS and Vice President of IDO, will be present to support and celebrate this historic moment for Italian dance.

This first IDO Licensed Event in Italy sets the stage for an exciting future of IDO-affiliated competitions, fostering growth, excellence, and international collaboration in the dance community.
