International Dance Organization Presidium Achieves Record Participation and Welcomes New Members at Copenhagen Meeting

Copenhagen, April 12, 2024 – The International Dance Organization (IDO) concluded its highly successful Presidium meeting in Copenhagen, setting new milestones in participation and welcoming new members into the IDO family. The meeting, held from April 10th to April 12th, saw unprecedented numbers of dancers and show remarkable statistical achievements in the IDO's history.

The IDO Presidium meeting presented record-breaking numbers of participating dancers, reflecting the organization's growing global reach and influence.
In addition to the remarkable participation numbers, the Copenhagen meeting marked a momentous occasion with the acceptance of new members into the IDO family. These new additions further enrich the organization's diversity and strengthen its mission to promote dance.

In anticipation of future events, the IDO has revealed plans to convene the Annual General Assembly 2025 within the United States. This strategic choice underscores the organization's dedication to demonstrating its global reach.

The Presidium meeting also served as a platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration, as presidium members engaged in discussions regarding new rules aimed at advancing the IDO's progress. These discussions show the organization's commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the global dance community.
