International Dance Organization – Presidium Consultations

The International Dance Organization (IDO) held official Presidium consultations on January 12, 2026, bringing together the IDO Vice Presidents and the Chairpersons of the Continental Conferences for a full day of structured online meetings.

The main focus of the consultations was the coordination of work for the 2026 season, ensuring strong cooperation between the Vice Presidents and Continental Chairpersons across all regions.

Following an extremely successful 2025 season, IDO leadership reviewed key results and aligned priorities for the future. The organization confirmed its commitment to maintaining this positive momentum through the introduction of new rules and strategic measures aimed at increasing participation, strengthening national organizations, and welcoming more dancers and dance institutions worldwide.

Individual meetings were held with the following IDO representatives:

  • Klaus Hoellbacher

  • Trajče Petkovski

  • Hana Svehlova

  • Edilio Pagano

  • Patrik Perosa

  • Sylwana Patlaszynska

  • Aleena Tan

  • Robert Planutis

  • Bonnie Dyer

  • Kirsten Dan Jensen

  • Fiona Johnson

These consultations reflect IDO’s ongoing commitment to strong leadership cooperation, clear planning, and continuous growth within the international dance community.
