International Dance Organization (IDO) Becomes Member of FISpT and Receives International Recognition for Music & Sport Contribution

The International Dance Organization (IDO) has officially become a member of the Fédération Internationale du Sport pour Tous (FISpT) following a decision made at the Extraordinary General Assembly held in Civitanova Marche, Italy.

The International Dance Organization (IDO) has officially become a member of the Fédération Internationale du Sport pour Tous (FISpT) following a decision made at the Extraordinary General Assembly held in Civitanova Marche, Italy.

During the Gala Evening, the FISpT Membership Certificate was formally presented to IDO Senior Vice President Ms. Fiona Johnson by FISpT President Mr. Isa Alrafaei, marking an important institutional step for IDO within the global sport-for-all movement.

The Gala program also included special recognition of IDO’s role in connecting dance, sport, and music on an international level. Mr. Piercarlo Pilani, President of the International Music Sports Committee (IMSC), presented IDO with an award honoring its outstanding contribution to sports connected with music.

Throughout the congress, delegates took part in constructive discussions focused on future cooperation, joint projects, and strategic development within the international sport and cultural community.

IDO’s membership in FISpT, together with the recognition received from IMSC, represents a significant step forward in strengthening dance as an integral part of the global sport and cultural landscape.
