IDO World Championships Set to Trill Skopje! A Spectacular Week of Dance Like Never Before

From the 9th to October 17th 2024, the vibrant city of Skopje will host the IDO World Hip Hop & Popping Championships, Hip Hop Battles Championships, and World Street Dance Show Championships, promising one of the most spectacular dance competitions in history.

Organized by MAMD (Macedonian Association of Modern Dance) and Trajche Petkovski, this year’s event is set to be the biggest and most extraordinary edition yet. Featuring a star-studded lineup of guest judges and VIPs, along with some of the world’s best dancers, the championships will showcase fierce competition across a variety of styles, pushing the boundaries of street dance.

With over 4,900 dancers from 35 countries participating, the city of Skopje will become the epicentre of street dance culture for nine days. This monumental competition will not only showcase the best in Hip Hop, Popping, and Street Dance but will also feature renowned guest performers and VIP judges from around the globe.

The venue SC Boris Trajkovski, chosen specifically for its grandeur and top-tier facilities, will set the stage for unforgettable performances and intense battles, creating an electrifying atmosphere for dancers and spectators alike. Fans of dance can expect breathtaking shows and fierce competition.

The presence of guest judges Honey J -South Korea, Marlon”Swoosh” Wallen – UK and Clifton Veldwawachter – Netherlands, adds an extra layer of excitement and prestige to the event. Their expertise and insight will be instrumental in selecting the world’s best dancers in each category.
