IDO Renews Membership in Council of Europe’s EPAS Consultative Committee
The International Dance Organization (IDO) is proud to share that its membership in the Consultative Committee of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) has been officially renewed for another three-year term by the EPAS Governing Board.
EPAS was launched in 2007 by the Council of Europe to strengthen cooperation between governments and sport organizations. It works to uphold ethics, inclusion, and safety in sport, bringing together public authorities and over 30 international sports organizations and NGOs through its Consultative Committee.
IDO has been part of this important platform since 2018, actively participating in EPAS initiatives and supporting the implementation of the European Sports Charter. This charter sets the standard for sports policy across Europe, promoting human rights, good governance, and integrity in sport.
“We are honored to continue our collaboration with EPAS and to contribute to its mission of making sport more ethical, safe, and inclusive throughout Europe,” said Prof. Dr. Velibor Srdic, President of IDO. “Our renewed membership reaffirms our commitment to these values and to the ongoing development of dance sport within this framework.”
