IDO Presidium Meets in Copenhagen with Full International Participation
The International Dance Organization (IDO) holds its official Presidium Meeting on April 15–16, 2026, in Copenhagen, bringing together its leadership for key discussions and organizational planning.
The meeting takes place at the Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center and gathers Presidium members both in person and online, ensuring full international representation.
Present in Copenhagen are IDO President Velibor Srdic, Executive Secretary and Treasurer Kirsten Dan Jensen, Vice President for Dance Sport Rules Hana Svehlova, Vice President for Protocol and Festival Edilio Pagano, Vice President for Marketing and Communication Trajce Petkovski, Vice President at Large Aleena Tan, and Advisor to the President Patrik Perosa.
Participating online are Senior Vice President Fiona Johnson, Vice President for Archives, Statistics and Data Protection Klaus Hoellbacher, Vice President for New Ventures Bonnie Dyer, Chairperson of the Continental Conference Europe Sylwana Patlaszynska, and Chairperson of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee Robert Planutis, alongside other officials joining remotely.
Over the two-day session, the Presidium follows a structured agenda, including reports from continental conferences, dance departments, and Presidium members, as well as discussions on proposals, membership matters, and future organizational activities.
The meeting reinforces coordination across all IDO structures and confirms the organization’s continued focus on development, governance, and international collaboration within the global dance community.
The Copenhagen Presidium Meeting marks another important step in aligning IDO’s leadership and preparing for upcoming initiatives and events in 2026.
