IDO Presidium Meets in Atlantic City to Shape the Future of Dance

ATLANTIC CITY, USA – July 10, 2025

The International Dance Organization (IDO) held its mid-year Presidium Meeting at the Sheraton Hotel in Atlantic City, gathering its top leadership to discuss key strategic, administrative, and developmental matters for the second half of 2025 and beyond.

Alongside the full Presidium, the meeting welcomed Sylwana Patłaszyńska, Chairperson of the IDO European Continental Conference, who contributed valuable insights on continental cooperation and the growth of dance in Europe.

With a packed agenda, the IDO Presidium addressed a broad range of topics crucial for the organization’s continued growth, innovation, and global expansion. These included:

• Preparations for major upcoming events, including the IDO World Championships in Bangkok 2025

• Strategic investments in Asian development and international outreach

• Updates on the implementation of the new IDO website and digital infrastructure

• Review of the first half of 2025 competition season and planning for upcoming events

• Progress on media rights enforcement, merchandising, and new educational initiatives

• Strengthening relationships through Memorandums of Understanding with global partners such as BLOC

• Organizational matters such as legal follow-ups, rule updates, and insurance offers
