IDO Licensed Events in the First Part of 2026

The International Dance Organization (IDO) continues to expand its global presence through a series of high-quality licensed dance festivals and competitions held across Europe in the first part of 2026. These IDO-recognized events provide dancers, choreographers, and clubs with professionally organized platforms that reflect IDO standards, values, and international spirit.

IDO licensed events are organized by approved partners and supervised by appointed IDO officials, ensuring professional conduct, fair adjudication, and strong organizational quality. They represent an important pillar of the IDO activity structure, complementing official championships while offering additional international opportunities for dancers at all levels and across all dance disciplines.

The 2026 licensed calendar opened with OPEN DANCE in Arnas, France (28–29 March 2026), an international all-style competition bringing together dancers from multiple disciplines in a vibrant and inclusive festival atmosphere.

In April, Slovenia hosted the LIBERO DANCE FEST – XII Edition in Medvode (17–19 April 2026), continuing its long tradition as a respected regional and international meeting point for dance studios and performers within the IDO network.

The Mediterranean dance scene was highlighted in May through the ProDance International Open Dance Festival in Larnaka, Cyprus (1–3 May 2026), presenting a diverse program across performing arts and dance sport disciplines and attracting participants from numerous countries.

The spring series concluded with feSTAR Dancing Days in Čačak, Serbia (16–17 May 2026), a dynamic event strengthening cooperation and exchange among dancers and clubs from the Balkan region and beyond.

Through these licensed festivals, IDO reinforces its commitment to supporting high-quality dance events worldwide and to fostering international collaboration, artistic development, and community growth. The strong participation and organizational excellence of these events clearly demonstrate the vitality and unity of the global IDO dance family.

The International Dance Organization warmly congratulates all organizers and partners of these licensed events for their dedication, professionalism, and valuable contribution to the international dance community.
