IDO Latin Style Seminar Successfully Conducted with Alberto Pregnolato

The International Dance Organization (IDO) successfully held an IDO Latin Style Seminar, bringing together dancers, teachers, and professionals from across the international dance community.

The seminar was led by renowned Italian expert Alberto Pregnolato, attracting 30 participants from 11 countries across 2 continents, confirming the growing global interest in Latin dance education within IDO.

The seminar focused on the technical and stylistic foundations of Latin dance, covering multiple disciplines and approaches, and offering participants valuable insight into judging standards, performance quality, and movement techniques.

Alberto Pregnolato is widely recognized in the dancesport world as a high-level international adjudicator and educator, licensed across Latin, Standard, and Ten Dance disciplines at the highest level. He has served as an adjudicator and chairperson at numerous international competitions, including European and World Championships.

With a career that began in competitive dancing in the early 1980s, Pregnolato became a multiple-time Italian champion and finalist at major international events. He later transitioned into education and leadership roles, contributing significantly to the development of dance sport in Italy and internationally, including work in judge education and technical training systems.

Throughout his career, he has trained world-class dancers and champions, while also holding key roles in national dance federations and educational institutions, making him one of the most respected figures in Latin dance pedagogy.

The seminar is part of the ongoing IDO educational program, which continues to expand through online and on-site initiatives, strengthening the knowledge base of dancers and professionals worldwide.

IDO Education Director Edilio Pagano expressed his strong satisfaction with the continuously growing interest in IDO educational activities:

“We are extremely satisfied with the level of interest shown by participants over the past months. This confirms that education is becoming one of the key pillars of IDO development.”

The IDO remains committed to delivering high-quality educational content, connecting experts with dancers globally, and further raising the standards of dance across all disciplines.
