IDO Holds Online Presidium Meeting: Focused Agenda for 2025
The International Dance Organization (IDO) successfully conducted its online Presidium meeting on January 22-23, 2025. The meeting, chaired by President Prof. Dr. Velibor Srdic, brought together the presidium members to discuss pivotal matters shaping the organization’s future.
The Presidium addressed topics including the approval of financial reports, updates on membership changes, and the calendar of activities for 2025, which encompasses competitions, seminars, and new initiatives.
Additionally, the Presidium reviewed proposals for innovative dance formats, merchandise regulations, and updates on collaborations with external organizations. The meeting included discussions on a potential restructuring of IDO’s Breaking discipline, advancements in the Tap Dance History Book project, and a refined social media and marketing strategy for the year ahead.
Key decisions included the approval of contracts with key partners, updates to dance sport rules and regulations, and planning for the next Presidium meeting scheduled for April 10-11, 2025, in Copenhagen.
