IDO General Assembly 2025 Unites Global Delegates in Atlantic City

The International Dance Organization (IDO) successfully held its Annual General Assembly 2025 at the Sheraton Hotel in Atlantic City, hosted by Robert Planutis, the United States Tournament of Dance, and the American Dance Organization.

More than 40 delegates from IDO National Member Organizations around the world attended the event, joining forces to discuss and decide on major topics that will shape the future of the organization.

IDO President Velibor Srdic shared his appreciation:

“I am very happy and proud of the engagement of all our delegates. Their contribution is vital to the development of the IDO and the global dance movement.”

Key points included:

  • Elections and committee appointments

  • Rule changes and structural updates

  • Strategic planning for 2025 and beyond

  • Enhancing marketing and digital outreach

  • Expanding the global dance network

This year’s Assembly reflected the IDO’s ongoing commitment to unity, transparency, and international collaboration. With participants representing all continents, the IDO continues to grow as a strong and diverse dance federation.

Special thanks to Robert Planutis, the United States Tournament of Dance, and the American Dance Organization for organizing and hosting a successful and professional event.
