IDO Extraordinary General Assembly Lifts Restrictions on Dancers from Belarus and the Russian Federation

The International Dance Organization (IDO) held an Extraordinary General Assembly (EOGA) online on 18 September 2026.

During the meeting, the General Assembly discussed and voted on the existing restrictions concerning the participation of dancers from Belarus and the Russian Federation in IDO activities and competitions.

Following the voting, the General Assembly decided to lift the current ban and restrictions on dancers from Belarus and the Russian Federation with immediate effect, subject to the applicable IDO Statutes, By-Laws and regulations.

The decision applies to participation in IDO activities and competitions.
