IDO Adjudication Seminar Successfully Concluded
The International Dance Organization (IDO) successfully concluded its Adjudication Seminar held on Friday, April 17, bringing together a new generation of dance adjudicators from across the global dance community.
A total of 28 candidates from 12 countries participated in the seminar, guided by IDO President Prof. Dr. Velibor Srdić, alongside esteemed experts Kirsten Dan Jensen and Jannie Breiner. The seminar focused on strengthening judging standards, technical knowledge, and consistency across all IDO disciplines.

“We are thrilled to share that our adjudication seminar was a tremendous success,” stated Prof. Dr. Velibor Srdić. “The preparation, dedication, and passion demonstrated by all participants were truly inspiring.”
Following the seminar, supplementary examinations were conducted on the next day, completing the evaluation process for all candidates. These individuals are now set to join the IDO’s international network of licensed judges, bringing their expertise to competitions worldwide.
The newly qualified judges will contribute across a wide range of disciplines, including Jazz Dance, Modern and Contemporary Dance, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Popping, Disco Dance, and Couple Dances. Their addition reinforces IDO’s commitment to maintaining high judging standards and supporting the continued development of dance worldwide.
IDO extends its congratulations to all successful candidates and encourages members and future adjudicators to take part in upcoming educational programs.
