Historic Meeting Unites IDO and BLOC in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, Slovenia – A landmark moment took place during the first IDO & BLOC World Breaking Championships, where IDO President Prof. Dr. Velibor Srdić and BLOC President Chin-Yu Tien met officially for the first time.

This meeting marks the start of a new partnership between two independent organizations with one shared mission: supporting the growth and progress of breaking schools and breaking communities around the world.

During the ceremony, a public announcement confirmed this new cooperation, followed by a special presentation. President Chin-Yu Tien received an honorary IDO breaking judges license — a sign of respect, recognition, and unity between both sides.

This important step highlights the commitment of IDO and BLOC to work together, build strong foundations for future generations, and support the international breaking scene in a fair and forward-thinking way.

The historic meeting took place on the same day as the IDO World Breaking Championships 2025 in Ljubljana — the largest breaking championship in IDO history, bringing together top dancers, coaches, and breaking leaders from many countries.

With this partnership, a new chapter begins — one that aims to provide more opportunities, more education, and stronger global support for breaking.
