First-Ever IDO Adults 2 & 3 Open Championships Begin in Helsinki
HELSINKI, FINLAND – A new chapter in IDO history has officially begun as the first-ever IDO Licensed Adults 2 & 3 Performing Arts and Street Dance Open Championships start in Helsinki, Finland.
Hosted in the stunning Dance House Helsinki, the event welcomes dancers from the Adults 2 and Adults 3 age divisions, creating a new international platform for experienced performers to continue their competitive dance journey.
The championships open with an impressive field of 26 Adults 2 groups, marking the beginning of an exciting week of competition. While the majority of participating teams represent Finland, the event also welcomes an international entry from Germany, highlighting the growing interest in these newly established championship divisions.
This landmark event represents an important step forward for the IDO community, offering new opportunities for adult dancers while strengthening Finland’s position as a host of high-quality international dance events.
