Europe’s Best Disco Dancers Gather in Chomutov for the IDO European Championships 2026

The vibrant world of Disco Dance is back in the spotlight as the IDO European Disco Dance & Disco Freestyle Championships 2026 officially begin today in Chomutov, Czechia. From June 18 to 21, dancers from across Europe will compete for continental titles in one of the fastest, most energetic and technically demanding disciplines within the International Dance Organization calendar.

Hosted at the renowned ROCKNET Arena in Chomutov and organized by the Czech Dance Organization (CDO), the championships bring together Europe’s strongest disco dance nations for four days of spectacular performances, athleticism and nonstop energy.

Disco Dance and Disco Freestyle continue to be among the most popular IDO disciplines, combining speed, stamina, precision and explosive performance quality. Throughout the event, dancers will compete in solo, duo, group and formation categories across multiple age divisions, all aiming to earn the prestigious title of European Champion.

As part of the ongoing IDO 45 celebrations, the event highlights not only the incredible talent of today’s dancers but also the continued growth and evolution of one of Europe’s most dynamic dance communities. Dancers, coaches, officials and supporters from across the continent are once again united through their shared passion for dance and competition.
