Dance Fest Novo Mesto 2025 Brings Together Over 700 Dancers at its 4th Edition

Mirna Peč, Slovenia – December 6, 2025
The 4th edition of Dance Fest Novo Mesto delivered an exciting day of competition, gathering more than 700 dancers from 6 countries at this year’s event in Mirna Peč. As an IDO-licensed event, the festival once again demonstrated exceptional artistic level, strong international participation, and a welcoming atmosphere cherished by dancers, coaches, and supporters.

Despite the smaller hall, the event maintained a high standard of organization and created a memorable setting for all participants. The day was filled with dynamic performances, enthusiastic audience support, and remarkable displays of talent across categories.

Organizer Robi Grmek expressed his satisfaction with the success of this year’s edition, sharing:

“The competition went excellently despite the smaller hall; the energy and warmth of the event were wonderful. We’re already looking forward to next year, so if anyone felt they had a little less space, don’t worry — we’ll see you again in 2026 at the old location in Sport Hall Leona Štuklja. Thank you to all the amazing dancers from 6 different countries and of course to all the judges, IDO representatives, and the top team for making Dance Fest 2025 truly outstanding.”

Dance Fest Novo Mesto continues to grow in popularity and reputation, strengthening its role within the IDO calendar. The organizers extend their gratitude to all dancers, choreographers, judges, and IDO officials whose commitment contributed to another successful edition.

Dance Fest returns in 2026 with even higher expectations and a move back to Športna dvorana Leona Štuklja, promising more space, more energy, and another great experience for the international dance community.
