Chomutov Shines as Europe Celebrates an Unforgettable IDO European Disco Dance Championships 2026

Four days of incredible performances, endless energy and unforgettable moments have come to an end as the IDO European Disco Dance & Disco Freestyle Championships 2026 successfully concluded in Chomutov, Czechia.

The championship brought together some of Europe’s finest dancers, coaches and officials for a spectacular celebration of Disco Dance. From the first round to the final awards ceremony, the atmosphere inside the ROCKNET Arena was filled with excitement, passion and sportsmanship, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Beyond the medals and titles, the championships once again highlighted the values that make the IDO community so special. Friendships were created, cultures were connected and thousands of dancers shared their love for dance in an environment built on respect, excellence and unity.

A special thank you goes to the Czech Dance Organization, the local organizing team, volunteers, adjudicators, officials and all partners who worked tirelessly to deliver a championship of the highest standard. Their dedication ensured that every athlete and delegation enjoyed an exceptional event both on and off the dance floor.

The city of Chomutov proved to be a wonderful host, welcoming dancers and visitors from across Europe and providing the perfect setting for four days of world-class competition.

As the final music fades and the last medals are awarded, the memories created in Chomutov will remain with dancers and fans for years to come. The IDO European Disco Dance & Disco Freestyle Championships 2026 once again demonstrated the strength, passion and bright future of Disco Dance across Europe.
