Celebrating World Fair Day on September 7th!

Today, on September 7th, we join the global sports community in celebrating World Fair Play Day. It's a day dedicated to promoting the values of fair play, sportsmanship, and ethics in sports, both on and off the field.

At IDO - International Dance Organization, we believe that sports are not just about winning but also about fostering integrity, respect, and teamwork.

The 4th edition of the World Fair Play Day ceremony will today commence in Brussels City Hall where they will honour Berit Reiss-Andersen, a distinguished Norwegian lawyer and fervent advocate for human rights. 🕊️ She will be receiving the prestigious "Fair Play for Peace" award from the European Fair Play Movement!

This award recognizes her exceptional dedication to promoting fairness, justice, and peace worldwide.

Joining this momentous occasion, we are honoured to have IDO Senior Vice President, Fiona Johnson, attending the ceremony on behalf of the International Dance Organization.

Adding a touch of artistry and grace to the event, Selina Jappe, the IDO World Champion will be gracing the ceremony with her dance number.

Let's come together on World Fair Day and celebrate all the incredible individuals who continue to inspire and contribute to a fairer, more just world.
