Another Outstanding Day of Dance at the IDO European Show Dance Championships 2026

The IDO European Show Dance Championships 2026 continued in spectacular fashion in Medvode, delivering another full day of exceptional performances, artistic creativity and unforgettable moments on stage.

The second day of competition brought together dancers from across Europe, who competed in a wide variety of categories, once again demonstrating the remarkable standard that defines international Show Dance. Throughout the day, audiences witnessed breathtaking choreography, powerful storytelling, impressive technical execution and emotional performances that captivated everyone inside the arena.

The competition programme featured Juniors 1 Duos, Children Formations, Production Shows, Children Solo Female, Juniors 2 Solo Female, Juniors 2 Solo Male, Adults 2 Groups, Adults 2 Formations and Adults Solo Female, providing an exciting showcase of every aspect of Show Dance. From intimate solo performances to spectacular formations and large productions, each category highlighted the creativity and diversity of Europe's finest dancers.

One of the highlights of the day was the Production Show category, where large-scale choreographies combined music, theatrical concepts, costumes and synchronized movement into breathtaking stage productions. Throughout the championship, dancers continue to demonstrate that Show Dance is far more than technical excellence—it is an art form that tells stories, inspires emotions and connects audiences across cultures.

The event continues under the guidance of an experienced international team of officials. Azra Pucko (Slovenia) serves as Moderator, Hana Svehlova (Slovak Republic) as Chairman of Judges, Velibor Srdic (Bosnia & Herzegovina) as Supervisor, while Anja Psenica and Vesna Huber (Slovenia) ensure accurate scoring as Scrutineers together with the organizing team of Plesna Zveza Slovenije & I Feel Dance - I Feel Slovenia.

As the championship reaches its final stages, the excitement continues to build with more prestigious European titles still to be decided. Every performance reinforces the values that define the International Dance Organization—artistic excellence, friendship, respect and the celebration of dance without borders.

The IDO European Show Dance Championships conclude tomorrow before Medvode welcomes athletes from around the globe for the IDO World Street Dance Show Championships 2026, extending another exciting week of world-class competition.
