A Spectacular Week of Dance: The IDO European Show Dance Championships 2025 Conclude with Great Success

The curtains have closed on the IDO European Show Dance Championships 2025, held in Arnas, France, and the results are in — this year’s event was a resounding success. Over 700 dancers from across Europe competed at the ESCALE Arena, delivering breathtaking performances filled with passion, precision, and powerful storytelling.

The atmosphere throughout the five-day championship was electric, from the Parade of Nations to the emotional finals and award ceremonies that brought the event to a close. The audience witnessed world-class talent across all categories — solos, duos, groups, and formations — making this edition one of the most inspiring in recent years.

Fiona Johnson, Chairman of Judges, shared her thoughts at the close of the event:

“I am truly proud of what we have seen in Arnas — not just the excellence on stage, but the spirit of unity, growth, and professionalism. The IDO is evolving, and this event proves that our organization is stronger than ever. The dancers, trainers, judges, and organizers worked together with incredible dedication. I leave France filled with joy and hope for the future of Show Dance and the IDO family.”

The competition was expertly organized by FFDJ and Fabrice Large, with support from IDO France and the local community.
