The 2021 IDO World Show Dance took place between the 15th and 16th January 2022. As the Championships could not be produced in 2021 due to Covid restrictions, the IDO Sports Department and Hisa Plesa ensured they could take place online.

Over 350 dancers from 11 countries took part with 139 choreographies. Over 4,200 views online daily and watching the competition on IDO Dance TV. The officials included Claudia Laser-Hartel from Germany, Breanna Willis from Canada, Beverley Wood from South Africa, Suchkova Anastasia from Russia, Azra Selimanovic from Slovenia, and Niki Machaira from Greece. IDO Vice President Fiona Johnson was Chairperson of Judges and Supervisor.

The medals table confirms that Slovenia won eleven gold medals, Poland won four gold medals, Slovak Republic two gold medals, whilst Italy and Norway won one gold medal each respectively.
