IDO WORLD DANCE OLYMPIAD HAS STARTED- PRESS RELEASE 54/2019
International Dance Organisation World Dance Olympiad has started and will be taking place from the 28th April to 3rd May 2019. The Olympiad is being held in the heart of Russia, its capital Moscow, and organised by the Russian Dance Organisation (ARDO) and led by IDO Vice-President Andrey Kokoulin.
The competitions are the IDO’s Performing Arts Championships and Cup, IDO European Oriental Folk and Show Championships as well as the IDO Grand Prix for Street and Pop. IDO Senior Vice-President Dr Velibor Srdic, IDO Executive Secretary, Kirsten Dan Jensen and IDO Vice-President Dr Hana Svehlova will be representing IDO at these championships.
Over 1,380 IDO dancers have registered to take part from 13 nations and three continents as follows:
Armenia, Belarus, Colombia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Mongolia, Poland, Russian Federation and Taiwan.
