- Press Release 43/2019

The International Dance Organization’s Public Relations Department is now searching for new IDO Dance Ambassadors. IDO Vice-President for PR & the Media, Seamus Byrne, is calling for all IDO National Member Organizations to nominate a dancer or dancers to volunteer into the PR and Media team.

Dancers willing to become an ambassador and volunteer should be passionate about dance and be a good role model for other dancers. Dancers selected will become part of the IDO PR Team for an initial one-year period.

The search is open to all ages of dancers from around the world. Anyone is eligible to apply via the IDO NMO or directly to the social media team, as long as they do not represent any other brand. Our search for IDO dance ambassadors will be promoted in IDO’s website and all our social media platforms.

Dancers selected will be expected to promote IDO regularly in social media, update the IDO YouTube Channel, represent IDO at competitions and events and be exclusive to IDO during their time as ambassadors.

IDO Vice-President for Public Relations and the Media, Seamus Byrne said:

‘It takes a good deal of hard work and precise planning to organise and promote, IDO public relations, its media work and its event strategy. Hence, we are now looking for ambassadors to help and promote our wonderful IDO!

Volunteers will enjoy the satisfaction of being part of a team, whilst at the same time support and promote their World Organisation. I do hope that many dancers from around the world will take advantage of this exciting opportunity.’

To apply to become an ambassador and volunteer, please send your National Member Organization your dance photo, a short description of the reason why you would like to be part of IDO PR Team and why you should be selected. National Member Organizations requesting further information or individuals wishing to apply can get in contact with the IDO Public Relations Department on email:socialmedia@ido-dance.com.
