HIGH QUALITY WORLD CONTEMPORARY CHAMPIONSHIPS IN OSSA!- Press Release 182/2018
The International Dance Organization’s World Modern and Contemporary Championships recently took place at the Hotel Ossa, Rawa Mazowiecka, in Poland. IDO Vice President and Sports Director Fiona Johnson Kocjancic has described the World Championships as a high-quality event.
The events have been organised by Duet Dance School and the Polish Dance Federation led by Piotr Patlaszynski. 1,362 dancers from 29 nations and 4 continents took part.
IDO Vice President and Sports Director Fiona Johnson Kocjancic said:
‘The IDO has welcomed Gibraltar, Mexico, United Kingdom and Spain as new countries in Ossa, for the IDO World Ballet, Jazz and Modern Championships. The competition was full of great performances with a high quality of dance throughout.
Special thanks to the organizers of IDO Poland and to the management and staff of Hotel Ossa, especially Beata and Marcin. All dancers have felt welcome and at home!’
