Around 12.000 dancers in Moscow

The World Dance Olympyad in Moscow was attended by around 12.000 (in words: twelve thousand) dancers in the “Russian Cups and IDO-events. Two weeks of great dancing in numerous categories like IDO European Championships in Ballet/Pointe, Jazz Dance and Modern as well as the World Championships in Acrobat/Gymnastic Dance, Flamenco, Folklore Dance, Oriental/Belly Dance and Techno and the IDO approved event of Street- and Show Danc) attracted dancers from twelve IDO countries (Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovak Republic and Ukraine). The huge hall of the Crocus Expo Hall – Moscow’s International Exhibition Complex – was the perfect competition location.
