The IDO World Showdance Championships and Cups 2010

- was a true success

More than 4.500 enthusiastic guest in the erdgas arena followed the excellent shows in the Saxonian Dancesport Capital of Riesa in Germany - 6 days of dancing at its best.

2.200 dancers from 25 countries competed for 17 different world titles and cups.

More than 800 visitors followed the numerous shows by LIVE STREAM from 34 continents.

The man of the evening was Eduardo Ciolli from Italy (FIDS), who won the men’s title for the third time - three years in a row IDO World Show Dance Champion in solo male adult - with a spectacular performance of "69 days" - revewing the expereince and hopes of the coal miners in Chile who have been save at last.

For the first time the crown of the formations has been won by a Czech Team, IMPULS from RADOST (CDO), performing a stunning story of Gallileo Galliei’s words "And yet she moves....", most beautifully choreographed by Lenka Breckova.

Runner up was Finland. Their story of "the Death of a Circus Horse"  was narrating and thrilling and made my back shiver at the end. The third place was won by KORNELE from Poland with a enchanting INSEKTOMANIA.

But all other 4 formations in the Final have also been outstanding. Each of them a true and great IDO world finalist.
