- Performing Arts Contest at its finest
The IDO vice president hands out a special IDO award to a young successful Japanes DUO

On Sunday, August 15, 2010 the Saitama Jazz Dance Association - the Japanese IDO Member for Performing Arts - organized a wonderful competition in the "Sainokuni Saitama Arts Theatre" in Saitama.

The talent and the skills of all dancers  in SHOW DANCE, JAZZ DANCE and MODERN have been faboulus and very high

It was the exciting and very well organized national qualification of IDO-Japan for the international IDO world championships in Riesa, Gerrmany and Mikolajki, Poland.

The IDO vice president and competition director Michael Wendt - who is IDO’s area representative for Japan - was very impressed about the high perfoming level and introduced the world of IDO to the very interested audience of about 250 spectators and the dancers participating.

The president of IDO-Korea, Mr. Lho Panku and Mrs. Byun - who came to visit this great Japanese event - have been very impressed and congratulated their Japanes neighbors to this success.

Mr. Lho Panku informed Mr. Wendt - as IDO competition director - that IDO-Korea is planning a big international IDO event in Korea in 2012. IDO is looking forward.

Congratulation and thank you (Aligato!) Hisako Umeda and IDO-Japan!
