From Wednesday, June 24 to Thursday June 24, 2009 the IDO president Bill Fowler chaired a very constructive and succesful IDO-AGM in beautiful Istanbul, Turkey.
More than 33 IDO federations from all 5 continents have sent their representatives or have been represented by proxies.
Having initiated additional IDO committees to work for IDO and having many young IDO people to take over responsibility shows the IDO-AGM 2009 has turned IDO into a promising direction.
The IDO president Bill Fowler (USA) - in close co-operation with the IDO senior vice president Jörn Storbraten (Norway) and the expert consultation of the livetime honorary president Nils Hakan Carlzon (Sweden) - chaired and guided this two-days-meeting professionelly and in a very good manner. The athmosphere was excellent and fruitful for IDO.
All motions, decisions and rule changes will be published by the IDO-presidium as soon as possible.
