In the Slovak City of Martin, the exciting MARTICO CUP took take place from 2 to 7 December 2008. The MARTICO CUP includes the IDO European Championships in Disco Dance and Disco Dance Freestyle (Juniors & Adults) and the IDO World Championships in Disco Dance and Disco Dance Freestyle (Children) and Street Dance Show.
About 2000 dancers from 15 countries competed in Martin, Slovak Republic to become
IDO World/European Champion.
Gold medal winners come from all over Europe. Not only the strong Disco Dance nations in Scandinavia but also in Eastern Europe as well as Italy won the Championships: Sweden, Norway, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary and Poland.
