Dance weeks in Riesa

This is already a tradition for the end of the year:
The International Dance Week will take place for the 12th time from 25 to 29 November 2008 in Riesa, Germany. The world’s best show dancers will compete in the Erdgas Arena. Dancers from South Africa, Croatia, Canada, Czech Republic, Russia, the USA, Poland, Japan and many many more will compete. For the first time also Dutch dancers will participate. There will be around 2.400 dancers from 28 nations and 4 continents.
Directly after the International Dance Week, the IDO Tap Dance World Championships complete the Riesa Dancing Weeks. From 3 to 6 December 1.200 dancers from 18 nations and 4 continents participate to become the World Champion. England and Japan will join the Championships for the first time.
All together there will be 3.600 dancers from 34 nations and 4 continents! These are the biggest official dance sport championships. 9 days dancing of the best of the best!
